Our Contribution Matters

This project is all about identifying how our unique talents, resources, relationships, successes, and failures ...

EXPLAIN what is around us

AFFECT what other people think of us

CREATE new opportunities

Equip us to drive POSITIVE Change

But... They do not DEFINE us!

We are positioned4change

My name is Analee. As I started preparing for my senior year of high school and applying to college, I quickly realized how easy it was for me to define myself by what I do or don’t do. The problem I found with this is, I am a human and make mistakes. Therefore, if my value or identity is tied to what I do, my view of myself will go up and down.

To try and combat this both within myself and others, I came up with the idea of a social campaign included within the Head Heart & Hands’ THINK CARE ACT Initiative. The goal of the campaign is to show our circumstances uniquely position us, but DO NOT define us.   There are over 7.8 billion people in the world. But no 2 people are the same. We all play an important role in their home, community, and world.

Want to join the cause? Together we can inspire others to see our unique talents, resources, experiences, and concerns DO NOT define us but they do position us to help drive Positive Change right now, right where we are.

I created a template to show a common theme in our stories. Here are the instructions:

  1. Fill out the template below to create a simple version of your story. Make sure that it is rated E for everyone so that it is appropriate for all ages.

  2. Record a video of yourself reciting your story in vertical format.  (see  above or @hhh4good on Instagram for examples)

  3. Send the video to Positioned4Change@gmail.com

I will then add your video to the Instagram so it can be seen on this page.
